Dr. Akila Suresh

Dr. Akila Suresh is a senior Neuro Anaesthesiologist with 36 years of experience. A member of ISNACC since 2019, she has been the anaesthesiologist for ALNC–VHS neurosurgery workshops and Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI) surgeries since 2007. She has demonstrated ABI anaesthesia techniques at PGIMER, Chandigarh, and delivered talks on the subject. Her academic contributions include chapters in Ramamurthi & Tandon’s Textbook of Neurosurgery, a chapter on ABI anaesthesia (2024), and monographs on meningioma, acoustic brain tumors, and posterior fossa surgeries.
